Abstract
|
|
|
A definite classification of mental disturbances caused by, or associated with,, head trauma into a group of acute disorders and a group of chronic disorders is. somewhat arbitrary, but in general there are two groups of syndromes both in respect to their temporal relation to the trauma and in´ respect to clinical features..
The chronic disorders may also be divided into to subgroups. One subgroup consists of those disorders presenting symptoms that are the direct result of the trauma, and the other, those in which the syndrome is only a secondary result of the head trauma.
